Frequently Asked Questions

Arrival and departure

At Residence Heijendael, you can check in from 3:00 pm and check out until 10:00 am.

During holidays (Easter, Ascension, Pentecost, Christmas and New Year's Eve), the arrival and departure times may differ.

Can I check in earlier than the official check-in time?

Are you near the resort prior to the official check-in time and would like to check in earlier? Then please contact the resort by phone. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the possibility of an earlier check-in. This depends on the chalets available in the resort.

Where should I turn in my key and barrier pass when the reception is closed?

Leave your key in the mailbox at the reception desk.

Changing the reservation date

Would you like to change the date of your reservation? For example, because it is not convenient, or because you would rather go on a vacation in another period? We are happy to look at the possibilities with you. Is the price of the new period that you want to book higher than the original amount? Then you pay the difference in price.

Vehicles

You can park one car free of charge per accommodation. This car must be registered in our registration system prior to your stay.

Bed linen and towels

At our accommodations it is standard that you get a comfort package per person. This is calculated automatically and cannot be cancelled. The package includes a fitted sheet, pillowcase, duvet cover, towel package (1 large and 1 small towel per person) and kitchen package (2 kitchen towels) per accommodation.

Minimum age

To make a reservation at Residence Heijendael, the primary guest must be at least 18 years of age or older. Guests under 18 years of age require permission from a parent/guardian in order to reserve a chalet. This parent/guardian must be present at check-in. Underage guests without permission may be refused.

During check-in, all guests will be asked to identify themselves with a valid ID (ID card/passport/driving license).

Pets

At Residence Heijendael, pets are allowed (on a leash). There are, however, also pet-free holiday homes in which pets are not allowed. Please indicate when booking if you are bringing a pet. A maximum of 2 pets are allowed per reservation. Please note that there is a surcharge of € 4.00 per pet per night. You are required to bring and use a "dog waste bag".

WiFi

You can use (wireless) Internet in the resort. Residence Heijendael is located in the middle of nature, so the signal range in the accommodations is not always optimal. If you have problems logging on or if you have any questions, you can always contact the reception.

It is strictly forbidden: to dig holes and trenches, to discharge waste water into the ground, to set off fireworks, to damage trees, plants or bushes, and to smoke in the woods. It is not allowed to place party tents and/or other means of accommodation (tents) and/or trailers in the garden of the chalets.

Furniture

You are not allowed to move (garden) furniture to another accommodation. Also, indoor furniture may not be used as outdoor furniture.

Laundromat

Our laundromat is fully equipped: in addition to the washing machines you will also find a dryer, so you will be able to quickly wear your clothes again.

Use of our washing machines is free for our guests, you do have to bring your own detergent.

Temporary housing or employees

A stay period lasts for a maximum of 30 days. Unfortunately, it is not possible to stay longer. Housing work migrants at holiday parks is not possible.
